Job description

Tasks will include:

•Answer and direct phone calls

•Organise and schedule appointments

•Plan meetings and take detailed minutes

•Write and distribute email, forms and other correspondence

•Assist in the preparation of funding applications

•Develop and maintain a filing system

•Update and maintain office policies and procedures

•Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

•Maintain membership database

•Book travel arrangements when necessary

•Submit and reconcile expense reports

•Provide general support to Ignite Theatre members

- assist with the overall marketing of the project

- any other task as agreed with the General Manager

Person specification

Necessary skills needed for the post:

- good computer skills in Word, Excell, social media

- interest in youth theatre

- good numeracy skills

Training in computer/IT skills and financial management will be provided along with any other required admin skills.

Founded in 2010 by writer/director Aileen Ritchie and an original group of young Asylum Seekers and Refugees, Ignite Theatre is an award winning Glasgow based charity which engages with a diverse range of children and young people.
