Aims & objectivesTo provide personal and social development to disadvantaged groups of people in Broomhouse and surrounds, in the area of : Community Care, Health, Education, Training, Social Inclusion, and 'Outreach'. The Centre also has 9 core services for people in the Broomhouse and surrounding areas: dementia day care, elderly peoples befriending service, youth befriending service, special needs lunch club, cafe training project, carers group, organic garden project, youth intervention group and a community newspaper.

To learn new skills in cooking and baking through on the job training, to maintain a high level of customer service. Maintain and comply with Food Hygiene regulations and to complete a daily cleaning rota. Help with stocktaking and any other duties deemed appropriate by the cook/ catering Manager.
