Job description

1. Administrative/PA Support – provide administrative and PA support to members of the team including email, photocopying, filing, mailings and travel bookings

2. Reception Duties – including answering telephone calls, welcome visitors, distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail, set up meeting rooms including organising refreshments and food, monitor levels of office supplies, attend staff meetings

3. Project Support – support YMCA Scotland programmes in various locations to update and maintain critical information on data management system.

4. Social Media – support staff to maintain and update the development of YMCA Scotland website and support the implementation of the organisation’s social media strategy. Support ongoing communication via social media platforms

5. YMCA profile – support staff to promote and communicate YMCA brand effectively.

6.Other Duties – such other duties as may be required from time to time

Person specification

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Good verbal and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

No formal qualifications required although a willingness to undertake training and development opportunities is essential
