Trust Rugby International (TRI) is a proactive Scottish Registered Charity with an international remit and mission to bring individuals, communities and cultures together by using the game of rugby in all its forms. Job description

Support the development, continued validity, promotion and delivery of tri coaching and development programmes within a community and unified rugby/ sport context

Support the development, continued validity, promotion and delivery of tri coaching and development programmes within a community and unified rugby/ sport context

Assist tri Regional Development Officer and coaches in the development of the National unified Rugby Curriculum and associated resource production and thereafter, support in the delivery of the Unified Rugby Curriculum.

Support the tri Regional Development Officer and coaches and volunteer coaching workforce to deliver tri values through games and training delivery.

Supporting with the development of coaching learning programmes and resources to support tri unified Coaching and & Long Term Participant Development

Support with planning, delivery and management of allocated projects as agreed by tri Regional Development Officer and coaches

Support the delivery of tri Key Development Themes within allocated regions through development of programmes.

To liaise with and deliver with Scottish Rugby, World Rugby, other national and international unified Rugby clubs, other sports and other countries programmes of mutual benefit relating to the development of unified rugby / sport coaching .

To operate within agreed budgetary limits under direction from tri Development Team Leader

Alongside tri Development Team Lead to support the development and mentoring of tri Apprentice Programme.

To undertake any other duties as appropriate, within their competence, as required by tri Development Team Leader

Physical aspects of role: Office work, field based educational work – including on field assessment, classroom delivery, and workforce training.

Working Environment: Split between office (Glasgow) and field, regular domestic travel and occasional international travel. Occasional work away from home requiring overnight stays for periods of time ranging from 1-5 days
