Building Healthier and Happier Communities is a national programme to improve the health and quality of life of people and communities across Scotland. It is starting in East Dunbartonshire, where SCVO is working on a pathfinder with East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action (EDVA), East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership, the Council and local third sector organisations to kick start a new approach to health and wellbeing, which taps into the third sector’s ability to help people lead healthier and happier lives.
