" Activities are providing a range of facilities for the people of Orbiston in a bid to help combat the injustices of poverty, isolation and intolerance, in particular managing Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre, a multi-purpose resource in the Bellshill area.

To work as a team member with staff and volunteers to provide food and catering as required, consistent with the policies and practice of Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre and all relevant regulations.
Cooking of meals in accordance with menus.
Presenting and serving of food to a high standard.
Portion control and the provision of special dietary meals where appropriate.
To ensure that Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures are fully complied with.
A high standard of personal hygiene is essential.
The duties of this job will include cash handling.
To undertake any training relevant to the post and in line with personal development plan.
To ensure the pursuance of the aims and objectives of Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre, in relation to our catering services.
To work with due regard for health and safety and equal opportunities.
This role will involve you working with people who have additional support needs.
To advise management in building and maintenance requirements and to assist in keeping premises and equipment to the required standard and in a clean and tidy environment.
Undertake other duties in relation to the effective operation of the centre as may be deemed necessary by the management staff.
Undertake other duties in relation to organisational development as may be deemed necessary by the Board of Directors and/or the Operations Manager.
Good communication skills. An aptitude for working with people of all abilities. References, self declaration form, and interview required.
