Aims & objectives

Feeling Strong is a service delivery and campaigning organisation with the mission to improve the lives of young people living with mental health issues in Dundee by fostering the skills, confidence and aspirations they need to flourish. We work closely with the community to provide opportunities for our service users in the following areas; lobbying, skills development and awareness. We are at an early stage of development, but have received start-up funding and are currently delivering one project on behalf of young people with mental health issues in Dundee. We have two more projects ready to start pending funding. We were founded in 2018 by our Project Director Conor Marshall, and since have been joined by a dedicated team of Trustees and Volunteers. Our objects are; 1) The advancement of health. 2) The advancement of citizenship or community development (including rural or urban regeneration). 3) The promotion of equality and diversity. 4) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
