I Love Charity

Every story starts at the beginning. That’s why we’ve created this resource (see clip below!) to enable people outwith the charity sector to see what exactly the modern third sector does in Scotland, to create a better understanding of the sector as a whole.

In February 2018, we published a report which showed that public trust in charities has declined in the last two years. As a result, we launched the #ILoveCharity campaign, to inspire trust in charities by supporting good governance within organisations to ensure they are well run, open and transparent, and to encourage charities to work harder at promoting the positive impact of their work.

Over the next 12 months we will be hosting network events, roadshows, training and a Storytelling Conference on 22 November 2018,  to enable charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations across the country to better share their impact and stories. For more information see our menu on the right, or for the latest updates follow us at @scvotweet or #ilovecharity.
