SCVO – Digital Delivery Privacy Notice
Who we are
Digital Champion Training, Digital Checkup and the Senior Leaders Programme are delivered by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO). SCVO is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We are a charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Our registered office is Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6BB.
This privacy notice tells you what data we collect and what we use it for.
What information do we collect?
When you agree to engage with the SCVO Digital team on the Digital Charter, Digital Champion Training, Digital Checkup or the Senior Leaders Programme we collect information about your organisation and the name, address, phone and email details of the person you nominate to be your main contact.
We also record details of our interactions with you – for example feedback on training delivery and notes of discussions about checkup responses. These details will be recorded and stored.
How will we use the information?
We will use this data to offer your organisation support to develop in the areas of Digital Participation and Evolution through the delivery of:
Tailored training courses for staff and volunteers (that you select), and ongoing support for delegates to implement the training.
One to one support (phone calls and face to face meetings) to help your organisation become more digitally mature.
Leadership development programme with monthly meetings and interactive support from SCVO Digital team.
Regular networking events.
We will also use it for reporting purposes – to monitor the impact and outcomes of the services we provide.
For as long as you are receiving digital support from SCVO we may send you occasional ‘special’ digital bulletins with details of events, products or services that you may be interested in.
If you wish to receive the regular SCVO Digital e-Bulletin you should subscribe to this separately.
We will only share your details with third parties required to deliver the services outlined above – these are Mhor Collective (Digital Champion Trainers), Ross McCulloch (Senior Leader Faciliator), Digital Unite (Digital Champions Network providers).
We will not sell, rent, disclose or assign your personal data to any other external organisation or individual.
Your information will be stored for a reasonable amount of time in order to perform the purposes listed above. We only keep your information for as long as necessary. We will delete your information five years after we have stopped delivering digital support to your organisation.
We may use quotes from feedback for publicity and promotion, and to report to our funders (Big Lottery Fund) and One Digital partner organisations (Age UK, Citizens Online, Digital Unite and Clarion Futures.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information.
